Today is my due date. I saw the doctor this morning and had my membranes stripped.
Current stats: 2.5 cm dilated. 70% effaced. Scheduled in one week for induction on Tuesday, April 3rd (obviously if she hasn't come yet).
I love my doctor. Do you know why? During my appointment he said, "You're going to have a baby this week" with such confidence I believed it. Even if it's not true, he's still my favorite.
P.S. The walk from our apartment around the mall was successful. I contracted the whole time. The only problem: when I sit down the contractions stop. Now to figure out how to trick my body into thinking I'm walking when I'm sitting. If you come up with any ideas, feel free to share. Maybe something like this would work:
Hang in there! I know it is HARD! Max was 2 days over and Sean was a week over and then I was induced. . .that week over was an eternity. . .sorry, i'm probably not helping. . .just enjoy feeling her move, get some rest, and eat whatever you want!
