Today was Nayeli's first Halloween. She was so cute dressed up as a strawberry. We went to our ward party earlier in the evening then came home to be together. Side note: Ben won the Chili Cook-off in our ward! When I groaned to him yesterday that I had to make a pot of chili for the ward party, he was more than willing to make his famous Taco Soup. And then he won. I'm so proud.
In other news, Nayeli recently turned seven months and is getting so big. Being her mom is wonderful. If I had to use one word to describe her it would be intense. What I mean is, she loves to be part of the action. It always seems like her mind is going 100 mph and she wants to discover everything. We love it.
A few days ago the weather was beautiful, so she and I went outside to take some pictures of her in her costume. Most of the pictures involved her eating the leaves, but I got some cute ones nonetheless.
Hope you had a happy Halloween!
So cute! And I forgot to post on your family pictures and tell you how good they look. I might have to check that place out!

Hmmm... it's like raising yourself! "I don't want to go home! I want to go to Albertsons! Everyone else is going to Albertsons! NOOO I DON"T WANT TO GO HOME!!!"
ReplyDeleteIntense is a good word for it. She sure is cute though.
ReplyDeletejust did an update and i love your pics! your family is so beautiful and i'm so happy for you! nayeli is gorgeous! i read in the temple post that she doesn't take a bottle. should i say "poor you????" lyra was that way and at first i loved it and found it endearing, but weaning her was sad and tough and we have some attachment silliness we still deal with. i would go to work and leave weston a full pumped bottle and only 2 ounces were gone when i came home 13 hrs later. the moment the door opened, she knew i was home and was ravaged. i was her pacifier and my goodness! nontheless, she is a doll. so glad you are enjoying being a mom! loves a million!
